New England couples film photography

At the end of winter I journeyed to Massachusetts to photograph an old friend from college, Charlotte, and her partner, Richard. I brought along a couple of film cameras, and some weird ideas I wanted to try and we had a blast. We moved around the house, as I sought out interesting light and important places.

Unique couples film session

My favorite part about this day was seeing Charlotte roller skate in her brand new skates in the driveway. She did little circles in the neon Barbie skates as Richard looked on. Afterwards, I documented some of their newly learned dance moves (which devolved into hugs and spins) in the front yard.

This session was a collaborative combination of interests that felt nostalgic and playful.
